Wicker Writing Desk & Chair

Wicker writing desk and chair, c. 1920. Soft white over a hand-woven frame, with a solid wood top left in its original patina. The desk has an X-pattern woven skirt and rounded corners; the chair an open lattice back and wrapped legs joined by a curved stretcher. Made for a sunroom, or any window with good morning light.

Desk: 48" W x 17" D x 30" H
Chair: 17" W x 17" D x 18" SH x 35" OH

Condition: Good, with wear consistent with age. Top shows light scratches, small nail holes, faint water rings, and natural checking in the grain. Structure is solid with no wobble.
