Introduce a layer of historical character to your home with this Victorian tiered display piece. Curated by Heirloom & Soul Interiors, this late 19th to early 20th century find was originally crafted as library steps, but serves today as a multi-tier shelf for curated collections.
Crafted in the Victorian style, it showcases architectural geometry combined with delicate ornament. The three tiers feature hand-cut incised geometric carvings along the aprons, complemented by scrolled side brackets and classically detailed, ring-turned legs. Built using peg and tenon joinery, this solid mahogany piece reflects the construction of the late 19th-century Aesthetic Movement.
While no longer intended for functional climbing due to its age, it is perfectly scaled to display stacks of antique books, a collection of pottery, potted plants, or small framed artwork in a living room, study, or hallway nook.
Style: Victorian, Aesthetic Movement
Materials: Mahogany
Dimensions: 17.5ʺW × 18.5ʺD × 31.5ʺH
Condition: Good vintage condition with a beautiful, natural patina and honest surface wear. The front left leg sits slightly shorter than the others: easily stabilized with a small felt pad if placed on hard floors. Intended as a decorative display shelf.
Delivery & Pickup Notes:
Available for local pickup & delivery in Austin, Texas.
